Illegal Rain tells the story of a farmers family, who are using self made drones to hack clouds to water their fields.

Andrea Moser, seeing the crops of the farmers around her fail, wants to make sure the people around her have enough food. So she starts to analyse corn plants already better adapted to the challenges they are facing – the ones big companies have developed and patented, and the old ones, less corrupted by monocultural sterility.

We are thrilled to announce that Design Investigations is representing Austria at the London Design Biennale 2018! Our installation ‘After Abundance’ at the Biennale will be open to the public from the 4th to 23rd September at Somerset House in London. We hope you can come by and see our work.
