Because of the fast growing, a child needs at least one new prosthesis every year. This problem is cost intense for parents and companies at the moment.
For a perfect supply, a prosthetic engineer has to visit the family two times each month to adjust the prosthesis.
Another serious problem is the sensitivity to dirt and cleaning.
The goal of this project is to point out these young users problems of current prosthesis to improve their situation.
After an extensive investigation concerning products available, a new type of prosthesis was developed, which will improve the quality of life.
The combination of user friendly mechanics and new technical materials leads to the desired result.
